Mission 2 - Culture Product:

Product:

For our final product we produced our presentation on the topic of ‘YouTubing’. For our first mission we were given a lot of recommended reading to do to give us an insight or guidelines to follow when creating our final piece which was our YouTube channel.
When creating this channel we decided to do videos of compilations like fast workers etc.

This is what the editing software looks like:

This the logo for the website that I used to edit my video on:

When creating this channel we decided to do videos of compilations like fast workers etc. As we thought it would be interesting to watch.

When we met for the first time we created our YouTube Channel.

This is How I Created  A YouTube Channel:

1.    Sign into YouTube and click on the user icon at the top right of the screen.

2.    Click on the settings icon to get to your account's YouTube Settings.
3.    Click on Create a new channel.
4.    Then choose “Use a business or other name”
5.    Add your Brand name and click create.
6.    Then create profile picture and if you want a banner.
7.    Then start brainstorming ideas to create first video.

After creating our channel we decided to meet up again to discuss our presentation we wanted to display both our YouTube channel and the process behind it. So we started to put together a presentation about how we created our videos, what software for editing we used, the earnings from YouTube, the idea behind YouTube and much more. We wanted to show how easy it can be to use YouTube and how you can also turn it into a career.

When starting this project we all decided to join the slack channel:
SLACK CHANNEL:#YOUTUBING

By using this website we could keep in touch with other class mates and ask them for advice when we really needed it.

We met up and created our presentation, we spent many hours making sure that the content turned out how we wanted it to, which for the most part it did.

How I Used VideoPad Editor:

1.    Import your videos into VideoPad.
2.    Add effects to your videos.
3.    Crop and trim your videos.
4.    Drag your clips into the VideoPad timeline.
5.    Add transitions.
6.    Add text.
7.    Add audio.
8.    Export your video project.

Our channels analytics:
With analytics you can only be paid if you have over 1000 subscribers. We were unable to view ads as we had not reached the subscriber count.
This image shows the analytics for our channel.

We also use an website called ‘social blade’ which shows you every YouTubers analytics so we decided to compare our channel compared to a popular compilation channels account. This is where we got all of our factual information from.

We compared our information to ‘Funny Vines 2’ Channel.

As you can tell there is a big difference compared to both stats as weve only had an account for three weeks and they’ve had there channel for a few years. Analytics show how much money a Youtuber can make per month and how many subscribers they have.
I found this part very interesting as I didn’t think YouTubers could make a large sum of money.
